Eastville Comedy Club kicks open their door to FreeNYC readers tonight with a free comedy showcase. Catch sets by Todd Barry (Send and the City), Mike Yard (Showtime at the Apollo), Joe Derosa (Comedy Central Presents) and Eliot Change (Comedy Central Presents). All you have to do is call them up and mention FreeNYC to by pass the usual $20 cover. Keep in mind there is still a 2 drink minimum ($5-$8) but what's a little stand-up with out a few cold ones. 18+
TODD BARRY
Todd's famous dead-pan comedy style is innovative. Todd is a true comedy legend, and has made tons of TV & film appearances on HBO's Sex and the City, The Wrestler, Road Trip, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Sarah
Silverman Program, The Chappelle Show, ABC's Spin City, Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, Comedy Central Presents, and The Late Show with David Letterman, and many others.
MIKE YARD
Mike is a comedy veteran and a true New Yorker. He's been on Showtime at the Apollo,
Comedy Central, HBO Def Comedy Jam, and BET's Comic View.
