"Starting at 7pm at beautiful, cool Deity Bar and Lounge, "One Night, The Rain" a play performed by Les Manouches with Jerome Simeon and Aktina Stathaki, will take you through the last days of Maria, a youthful whore form Barcelona [...] Next, you can experience the dance of GoGo Vertigoat, performing "The Slick Feeling of Aches and Cavities, a seductive encounter with sex and food, produced by Lindsey Drury. After that, get into a Burlesque show with Impulse Initiatives's Down and Dirty Debutante Ball [...] Then, be sure to hang around till 9pm for the amazing music of BR and the Timebomb-- hip-hop meets R&B, rock, reggae, funk, soul, jazz, classical-- total music fun! Or, if Irish Pub is more your style, come to Ceol Irish Pub at 8pm, and see theater, music and comedy! Opening is the world premier of Sergei Burbank's new play, 'The Third Seat' [...] Then, My Cousin, The Emperor (formerly the Populists Band) features singer-songwriter Jason Reischel and his alt-country meets alt-pop musical ensemble. Kung Fu Panda at RiverFlicks for Kids

The folks over at Hudson River Park keep calling this RiverFlicks for Kids, but we're really into a bunch of these movies, so either the films are also for grown ups, or we just like kid stuff. Tonight's kid flick is the animated martial arts movie Kung Fu Panda. "Join the adventure as Po the Panda (Jack Black) trains with the Furious Five to be the Kung-Fu hero he is destined to become!"

Eastville Comedy Club kicks open their door to FreeNYC readers tonight with a free comedy showcase. Catch sets by Donnell Rawlings (Chappelle Show), Gary Gulman (Dane Cook's Tourgasm), Sherrod Small (VH1's Best Week Ever), Joe DeRosa (Last Call w/ Carson Daly) and Eliot Chang (Comedy Central). All you have to do is call them up and mention FreeNYC to by pass the usual $20 cover. Keep in mind there is still a 2 drink minimum ($5-$8) but what's a little stand-up with out a few cold ones. 18+
