For every first Tuesday through April, the LMCC and Poetry Society of America bring you Poems & Pints. Each evening, two award winning poets read their own work and favorite poems by others. It all happens in the Nichols Room at Fraunces Tavern, a well-known meeting place since 1762 as well as the site of Washington’s farewell address and the first State and War Departments. Tonight's third reading features Edward Field (a Lambda Literary Award winner and Guggenheim Foundation Fellow) and Vijay Seshadri (a James Laughlin Award winner and recipient of the MacDowell Colony’s Fellowship for Distinguished Poetic Achievement). Check below for the full poet schedule.
