Fight For Love

The international art group Sun Rain Stars will unveil in New York their next performance this afternoon. In this Guerilla Style artshow people compete as kissboxer against each other to win Fight For Love, the ultimate Kiss Fighting Championship. The Sun Rain Stars will start each hour a new tournament of maximum 20 participants whereby they have to fight against the World Champion Kissboxing Erik Van Loon from The Netherlands. The fights of each three rounds of one minute will be decided by the kissboxer who kissed the other most times or by a technical kiss-out of 4 kisses with as only rule that the kisses have to be made above the belt.

Election Night Sleepover

"To mark the closing of the White House Redux exhibition, Storefront will hold an all-night election vigil in the gallery with live a large-screen CNN projection, 5 cable news channels, blogging stations and wi-fi for blog reading (and writing). The event, organized in association with Control Group, will continue until the 44th President of the United States is announced. Drinks will be provided while they last - BYO food and sleeping bags. Coffee and croissants from Ceci Cela will be served at 7am. Everyone welcome!"

"Amidst red white and blue bunting and streamers we will have two separate projectors and will live-broadcast the State-by-State Roll Calls, on both indoor and outdoor screens, courtesy of CNN.com. On the grill we've got all American burgers, dogs and veggie dogs at '08 Recession prices, as well as Brooklyn beer and soda available for donation. All American Apple Pie will be served with proof of vote cast, and since this is one of the most patriotic of nights, make sure you BYO American Flag! [...] If that weren't enough, there will be a Very Civic Bicycle Ride, departing from City Hall (Centre Street and Chambers) at 6pm, and heading towards the Reliquary, in time to enjoy the votes coming in."
