64 dealers and publishers from six counties come together this weekend for the 11th Annual Editions | Artists' Book Fair showcasing the latest in contemporary prints, editions, and multiples. Prices range from a mere $20 all the way to half a million but its always free to look. Continues throughout the weekend.

Bryant Park Tricks N' Treats

In the spirit of Halloween, Bryant Park welcomes children from ages three to eight that are in costume to join in at Bryant Park’s first annual Halloween party on October 31st from 4 to 6pm. Children will have the opportunity to paint pumpkins, listen to scary stories, and meet popular storybook character Clifford, the Big Red Dog. The event is free but carrousel rides $2.

Trinity Church Hallowe'en

Halloween Parade 2007

In an event that needs no introduction, its time once again for the Greenwich Village Halloween Day Parade. Watch as "hundreds of artists, 53 bands of different types of music, dancers and artists, and thousands of other New Yorkers in costumes of their own creation" take to the streets to celebrate this year's theme "Ghost." If you've never been then this is a definite must-go event at least once in your life. Check the site if you are interested in participating.
