Celebrate Trophy Bar's new outdoor exhibition, Refugio, this evening with a reception and open Svedka Bar from 8-10. "Refugio" are membranous patio umbrellas that do nothing to protect you from the elements of sun, rain , or snow but do everything to create multiple lenses for star gazing and sky viewing. The umbrellas are like dragon flies that unexpectedly land on your shoulder. Made of thin steel rod diverse abstracted insect wings come together to create umbrella canopies, an environment that invites you to take a moment for a bit of "Refugio."
