This fourth annual bacchanal, organized by the trend setting Deitch Projects, in conjunction with Creative Time and Paper Magazine should provide a feast for the eyes, ears, and possibly other parts of the body. From Broadway to Wooster, the streets will be energized by improptu dance troops, giant headed puppets, artist floats, and assorted other art oddities. This year’s parade will include over 90 projects, including those by Jim Drain, Barry McGee, Clare Rojas, Beta Tank, Yoko Ono, Dzine, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black and Kenny Scharf, and will involve over 900 participants, making this the largest and most dynamic Art Parade yet. It's always a little crazy, very original, and a lot of fun. The parade starts on West Broadway at Houston and continues downtown. Once they hit the Deitch space, all bets are off. All Ages.
