"In collaboration with the African Film Festival and Afrokinetic, The Bronx Museum presents an exciting First Fridays! program of outdoor film screenings and live performances. Music by DJ Chris Annibell (Afrokinetic) and live performance by Michael Markus with Magbana Drum & Dance. Films being screened are: 'The Girl Who Sold the Sun' (Djibril Diop Mambety Senegal/Switzerland, 1999, 45m.) and 'Mambety' (Papa Madieya Mbaye, Senegal, 2002, 28m.)"
