The Brooklyn Independent Cinema Series continues this evening with an evening guest currated by Michael Tully. The short 1983, "takes a simple concept—filming teenagers in close-up staring into the camera—and turns it into an unexpectedly resonant experience." Then, in feature length Running Stumbled, director John Maringouin's documents "his estranged, drugged up father and his equally obliterated girlfriend is one of the most harrowing pill binges ever committed to videotape."
