This will be an exhibit of sorts; Artists from the Sound of Art camp have all created pieces of art that reflect the theme from 55DSL's current collection - Audio Digital. Creating art using found objects, an emphasis on how environmentally conscious visual artist can be by partaking in the recycling movement. Accompanying the art will be a live DJ set from none other than Pete Rock himself." (WUNYC) Plus free booze of sorts and sweet gift bags with purchase.

The Insound 20

Hamlet, Uncut

The evening's program features a selection of short films by Czech surrealist Jan Vankmajer, each with a live soundtrack performed by music collective Hundred Eyes . In addition to their regular set of top not musicians mad drummer Adam Deitch (Adam Deitch Project, Lettuce, Fyre Dept) and Stu Brooks (Dub Trio) join in on bass and drums along with a special opening set from Taylor McFerrin. Expect some funky-afro-hip-hop-improvisation like you've never heard before. Highly Recommended. 21+
