Time: 7:00pm
Location: Red Hook Park (Lorraine, Clinton, & Henry streets, Red Hook)

In the 70’s a party wasn’t a party unless BT Express was playing. The band, originally named King Davis House Rockers, reached the absolute pinnacle of funkiness with their layered orchestral sound, soulful vocals, and infectious choruses. Their unforgettable hits include, “Do It Til You’re Satisfied,” and “Express.” The group produced eight albums which included those stand-outs, as well as “Peace Pipe,” “Give it What You Got,” “Shout it Out,” and “Give Up the Funk.”

Bob Dylan... Sort of

FreeNYC Event Flyer

Date: Tuesday, August 12th
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Prospect Park Bandshell (9th St & Prospect Park West)
Cost: Free

So the Bob Dylan show is well sold out and, no, we don't have some magic ticket printing button to get you all in for free. What I can tell you, however, is that despite that obnoxious black fence the put around the bandshell exclusively for pay shows (come on guys, it's not like you can sell any more tickets) you can still grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and hang out with the hundreds on the lawn outside and listen to the show. This one should be filled with Park Slope residents so early arrival for good blanket space is suggested. All Ages
