Those Giant Step cats do it again… bringing some of the worlds finest DJs to you on an otherwise drab Monday evening. Tonight's set features the UKs Daz-I-Kue from the Bugz in the Attic crew. Fan's of broken beat, jazzy breaks, and good old soulful house know that the Bugz - along with other contemporaries such as Jazzanova - have been pioneering these sub-genres across the pond for a while now. Their recent remix of Ruben Blades Plastico on the excellent Fania remix compilation is on constant rotation in my studio and a perfect example of the breath of their work (sample found here).
