To gear up for the Season 2 premiere of Shear Genius next week, Bravo’s giving out free professional blowouts on Military Island in Times Square today. The cast of the show will be on hand to provide free hair styling, plus host, Jaclyn Smith, will be there as well. You will also leave with a little Nexxus gift bag too.

Tuesdays hit a high note with jazz and classical performances from Mannes College The New School for Music and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music on one of Hudson River Park's most beautiful piers by star students from around the city. Tonight the Mannes students play a selection of classical compositions while you watch the sunset. All Ages.

Live at the Gantries brings together some of the city's great music maker's for sunset performances every Tuesday this summer. Tonight is their kickoff with Corina Bartra, "a vocalist-percussionist who has studied rhythms from around the world and incorporated various influences into her music. She is known for blending original jazz compositions with the rich, magical traditions of Afro-Peruvian and Brazilian music." All Ages.
