Game of SKATE

"SKATE is just like the basketball game HORSE on here, each skater must try to successfully complete a trick or gain a letter. SKATE was first played in the 1970's by vertical skateboarding legends Lance Mountain, Neil Blender and John Lucero, and was adopted by street skaters in the 1980's. The game of SKATE tournament was created in 2003 by the folks at eS footwear, who also developed the original set of rules." Today is the preliminary round and the finals take place tomorrow. Bride of Frankenstein at Bryant Park

Every Monday throughout the summer HBO dusts off some old classic movies and plays them on a big screen in Bryant Park. Tonight get a look at The Bride of Frankenstein! "Dr. Frankenstein’s monster is lonely, and his creator has just the remedy. Starring Boris Karloff and the inimitable Elsa Lancaster, this brilliant movie is funny, thrilling and ultimately heartbreaking. One of the few sequels widely considered to surpass the original."
