The Lower Eastside Girls Club Saturday Performance Series, now in its second year, is a weekly afternoon performance series featuring all-women line-ups of musicians, singer-songwriters, MC’s and poets. This afternoon series is an especially nice line-up as they welcome nu-jazz singer Alison Crockett. Alison has dropped vocals on many sultry tracks across the house, acid jazz, and UK garage genre's including personal favorite, Landslide's 2-stepper It's Not Over. Tonight she swoons you along with Brooklyn based chanteuse Rhonda Denet. And if you are a young woman under the age of 23, drop in early for their 2pm lunch workshop before the performances for an exclusive conversation with our artists. All Ages.
