You know summer is right around the corner when the annual Havana Outpost Block Party comes around and this afternoon they'll transform mild-mannered Fort Greene into an all out funk/soul/cuban/brazilian/whatever throw down. This is another one of those crazy fun event's that takes place every year and is def. worth the trip out to BK (or after you spend $10 looking at cherry blossoms since you didn't listen to me last week). Plus, you can get your green-on as the Outpost is NYC's first eco-eatery, shops local, supports the community, and are all around good guys. Entertainment this afternoon includes live music from bands like Pistoleras, Conjunto Guantanamo, and a spectacular performance from The Hungry March Band. Plus, Dj Cato and Juice E, spin Funk, Soul, Cuban, Reggae, Hip Hop, and Brazilian sounds and there's even a fahsion show and kids corner. All Ages.
