Visible from street level, the boilerRoom will be open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing exhibiting artists maximum visibility in this hot young arts community. Opening January 16, The powerHouse boilerRoom in conjunction Ultimate Fighting Championship® with presents Octagon: Photographs by Kevin Lynch (which accompanies the release of the eponymous limited edition clothbound book). Lynch has photographed Ultimate Fighters in a series of photographs including before and after shots at fights.

Four years and over 450 images come off the web and into real life today at Gallery Hanahou. The exhibit is the physical incarnation of Der Bilderklub, a Berlin-based virtual community where professional illustrators share their visual lives, through personal drawings, sketches, and photographs on an everyday basis. Artists will include Tina Berning, LULU*, Julia Pfaller, Sascha Bierl, Maria Tackmann, Regina Heinlein, Gisela Goppel and more. The artwork will be exhibited as limited-edition 5"x5" prints, available for $12 each.
