If you are looking for something new to do today, perhaps a free workshop at Eyebeam? "A workshop by Forays into Everyday Tools: Build a machine to help Freegans dumpster dive! Forays (Eyebeam production fellow Geraldine Juárez, and resident Adam Bobbette) will run a public workshop... to help dumpster diving organization, Freegans, build a “public action” machine. They are currently looking for the following people to participate in the creation of this “machine”, and to help document the session for an upcoming exhibition at Alogon Gallery in Chicago" They are looking for two construction/woodworkers, one electronics prototyper, one graphic designer, one blogger to document the process and one videographer to document the testing of the machine.
