The spirit of Ginsberg and the Beat Generation lives on tonight with the return of the annual Howl! Festival. Tonight's kick off party features cocktails, an art auction, and performances by Judith Malin and Frank Perowsky's Jazz Combo. At midnight, The New York Howl perform their unique blend of southern gutter funk. The festival continues through the weekend and centers around Thompkins Square Park. Full info on the site. 21+
