No Selector Sundays is a collective of forward thinking local musicians involved with and inspired by DJ culture. The night was founded by accomplished musicians Guy Licata and Abe Sieferth, along with veteran NYC DJs Jesse Mann and Evan Baggs. Jesse and Evan continue to hold down the evening on a weekly basis, bringing in a healthy assortment of talented live musicians, along with some of the best DJs the city has to offer. The focus is on great music in all of its forms, culminating in a mish mash of funk, soul, afro, latin, jazz, house, broken beats, disco, electro, and assorted danceable breaks. This week Jesse Mann and Swingsett bring "a marathon of busted beats, newfangled jazz, dirty disco, and filthy funk mash-downs and smash-ups."
