JJ Grey & Mofro at the Big Apple BBQ!!!

The Big Apple BBQ is on again this weekend and this is one of my favorite annual events. Over a dozen pitmasters from around the country set up their rigs and cook up some of the tastiest pulled pork, ribs, brisket and just about anything else you can smoke. Make sure to check out Mitchell's Whole Hog, its off the hook.
But that's not all! JJ Grey and Mofro - purveyors of the finest country ghetto you've ever heard - are closing out the music stage. These Florida boys rip some serious roots music. They were amazing at Irving Plaza a few months back (download that show here) and will be even better with a handful of desert ribs and a cold Brooklyn Brew. The event is Saturday & Sunday, 12-6 and packs quite a crowd but this one is not to be missed!
