Summary: BYOB in this case stands for Build Your Own Bike, and today NYCBikes is hosting build-a-kid-a-bike charity day for underprivileged children. Come out and watch as "hairy bike shop trolls" (their words not mine) put together fun bikes along with holiday music and hot chocolate. While you're there you can make an appointment to come back and build your own bikes. As NYCBikes said, "who needs elves?"

Summary: My man Dust La Rock is celebrating his 30th year on this mortal coil with DJs and booze (what else?). This dude's graphic designs are all over the place and he deserves a celebration. DJs Roxy (Oxy Cottontail), The Jah Breaker (RE:UP Magazine), Vin Sol (SuperFriends), and Equal (Mishka NYC) come through to rock the rhythm.

Summary: It's an all-out upstate party not to be missed tonight as Discolobos return to Galapagos with their blunted, sample driven, head noddin', 4 tuntable DJ \party vibe. Also on the bill are FreeNYC favorites and Bugjuice Alum the Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. If you've been slacking on checking out these boys then tonight free show is a great chance to work out the cold weather with their dubby, roots reggae live show. A collection of local DJs round out this bill making this my personal pick of the weekend!
