Summary: Summer 2006 makes summer number 6 of Lincoln Center-based celebrations honoring the spontaneous oral poetic traditions of the Caribbean, the U.S., Native America, Africa, Mexico and Latin America. The fesitval, entitled 'La Casita', celebrates the spirit and soul of Blues. La Casita will be featuring urban poets, spoken word artists and street corner fulminators who will join the traditional music and dance performers on stages not just at Lincoln Center, but also in various neighborhoods throughout Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx. Paul's working hard at starting his career as a lawyer while Corie's eager to be romantic and spontaneous, giving the two plenty to squabble about. The movie also features Mildred Natwick as Corie's mother and Charles Boyer as the elderly bohemian neighbor."
