Summary: The French kicks combine the rolling symphonic lyricism of - say - M83 with a sort of low key electro/punk drumming to create a sound space that is both atmoshpheric and energetic all at once. Throw in some vocal harmonies, good old guitar chords and a powerful chorus, and you've got a band on the verge of stealing your heart (or at least making their way into your iPod.
