Summary: This is artist Hubert Dobler's first NY solo show. One part consists of a video Dobler made, where he chains his '76 Honda CB550 motorcycle from a ceiling and let's it buck and twist in the air as the full-throttle back wheel connects with the dirt floor. Pretty facinating to watch, really. The other part is basically three gallery floors worth of tire tracks made from Dobler peeling out and riding roughshod through the gallery. The gallery is littered with crushed gas cans and the bike is tucked into bed in the back. This line pretty much sums it up: "Gasoline, like liquid Viagra, fuels the lone cowboy's raging libido."
