Summary: Japanese pop culture obsessed artist Matthew Waldman opens his newest exhibition at this Williamsburg gallery, which will feature prints, paintings and sculptural installations of doe-eyed fairies "organizing in order to protest the loss of their native habitat."

Waldman's "ontological" questioning of the collective acceptance of said creatures is a bit complicated as a metaphor, but the underlying message is on point and it comes across attractively and plainly in his art. We're loosing our "fairy" habitat and they may be smilin', but it's pretty serious if they're getting organized.
