Summary: Amnesty International, the New York Society for Ethical Culture, and Human Rights First present a panel at which Nicholas Kristof, (Op-Ed columnist for the New York Times), Mark Malloch Brown, Juan Mendez, and Tragi Mustafa discuss ending the atrocities in Darfur and why you are the best hope for peace and justice. Nicholas Kristof, Op-Ed columnist for the New York Times whose tireless advocacy on Darfur has made him 'a one-man army' focusing attention on the atrocities and pressuring the US government to respond.
Mark Malloch Brown, United Nations Deputy Secretary-General.
Juan Mendez, United Nations Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide and President of the International Center for Transitional Justice.
Tragi Mustafa, Darfuri refugee living in Ontario and Executive Director of the Darfur Association of Canada and founder of Save Women-Sudan.
Karima Bennoune, moderator, Professor of International Law at Rutgers University School of Law--Newark and member of the Board of Directors of Amnesty International USA.
