God's Forgotten House
As part of Wales week Pioneer Theatre are screening God's Forgotten House by Welsh artist and director Justin Golding. God's Forgotten House is about the difficulty of what to do with innocence once it is lost. It is the story of a confused and struggling young man, John Phillips, who is court mandated to work in a home for troubled children in Harlem. Each child presents a unique set of emotional challenges, and the house is full of violent outbursts and emotional scars where only the strongest survive. The film itself isn't very Welsh but it's free and the screening will be followed by a question and answer session with Justin Golding.
