Style Sessions

Style Sessions takes place through out this weekend. There is a lot involved in this one so I think it's best I just use their words...
"Style Sessions began in 2002 as an event to promote the surf style of skateboarding, and strengthen the riding community. This year, the Style Sessions Art Exhibit at Milk Gallery in New York City includes the Skateboard Art Collection. The Style Sessions Art Exhibit is open to the public from May 26th through June 3rd. Proceeds from art sales benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer.
This year's Style Sessions Competition takes place throughout the duration of the exhibit. Skaters and photographers compete for "Best Rider" and "Best Photo" at a series of free-ride sessions throughout New York City."
The Style Sessions link above will give you details on all the skating events this weekend.
Date: Friday, May 27th - June 3rd
Location: Milk Gallery, 450 West 14th
Cost: Free

A$$ & T!TT!ES

Once upon a time in NYC (okay, this past winter) there was a party called Bangers & Mash that the FreeNYC crew simply would not miss. We were thrilled that grime had come to New York and took total advantage of it. Sure, we got a little rowdy, probably a bit out of hand, but we never hurt no one. So we don't think it was our fault that the party stopped but we were sad to see it go.
But now Vito Fun, Drop The Lime, and the rest of the crew are back with a new party, Ass & Titties. Expect a more extended range of crunked up breaks from Miami Bass to Drill and Bass but the same great vibe and drunken FreeNYC gang foolery.
Date: Friday, May 27th
Time: 10:00pm
Venue: Rothko (116 Suffolk at Rivington)
Cost: Free

Cut Presents The House side of Hollertronix

By now you know the Cut party. Great music, free drinks, etc. etc. We are really excited this week because - on top of bringing legend Junior Sanchez to the tables - they've locked in Low Budget for the evening. While Diplo - Low Budget's partner in crime as Hollertronix - has been getting lots of play lately due to all the M.I.A. press (and we love Diplo over here as well) its a treat to hear LB drop the housier side of the duo's legendary sets. Expect dancing all night long. A highly recommended precursor to your nightcap at Rothko. Free Red Stripe from 10:00 - 11:00
Date: Friday, May 27th
Time: 10:00pm
Venue: Eleven (152 Orchard Street)
Cost: Free
