67 Orange Street welcomes St Germain for the seventh installment of our Cocktail Education Series. This very distinctive liquor will be at the center of barman Asa Scott’s creations for the night. This tasting will be complimentary but space is limited.

Bailout Theater is a twice-monthly night of free dinner and entertainment. There is no catch – no mysterious fruit punch, no proselytizing, not even a suggested donation. Just a place for people to hang out that isn’t their home, that isn’t their workplace and where they don’t have to pay five big ones for a cup of coffee to sit down. We have free dinner and desserts provided as always by friendly Village restaurants (John’s Pizza and more) and potluck enthusiasts. Also, there’s a live musical performance by Heather Christian and the Arbornauts (indie/blues/jazz). If you would like to bring a small dish or dessert to add to a potluck, we love that, but it is by no means required.

Cellist Joel Krosnick, faculty chair of Juilliard’s cello department and longest tenured member of the esteemed Juilliard String Quartet, performs a program of contemporary solo cello works tonight featuring works by composers long-championed by Mr. Krosnick: Richard Wernick’s Suite No. 2 (2007); Roger Sessions’ Six Pieces (1967); Ralph Shapey’s Krosnick Soli (1983) and his Solo-Duo-Trio (1999); Milton Babbitt’s More Melismata (2006); Elliott Carter’s Figment No. 1 (1994); and Donald Martino’s Parisonatina Al’Dodecafonia (1964).
